Finding a Partner
One common pitfall is building a living without building a life. Also, a common thinking trap is that ERE is incompatible with building a long term relationship or a family (e.g. "Having kids is so expensive!")
In reality, if you are partnered with someone with similar beliefs and values, a partnership can actually provide economies of scale that help your ERE journey more than hurt it.
Things to consider
While it's commonly held as either unromantic or only for the super rich, many ERE practitioners consider creating a mutually agreeable pre-nuptial agreement a wise maneuver prior to marriage. This is especially prudent in situations where one partner has considerably larger asset to debt ratio than the other.
