Applied Capitalism means owning the capital (aka tools of production) and letting capital do the work for maximum profit. Of course "capital" and "profit" should not be seen purely in dollar terms. As mentioned in the book, there are many kinds of capital. Tools don't just include hammers and saws, but also skills or new ways to think. All are important.
